Nineteen members of The University of Arizona National Student Advertising Competition Team competed in the American Advertising Federation event held in Tucson on April 19, 2008. The U of A team placed 3rd in the competition and the chapter's plan book received the highest score of all schools. Congrats to the entire team, especially presenters Carly Bennett, Hillery Kemp, Danielle Stephens, David Holt, and Jessica Carlson!

Marketing students attended the 4th Annual Thinking Forward: Leadership and Innovation in Marketing Conference. The 2008 Think Forward Award winners were also recognized during the event.

Students attended the second annual Office Depot Sales Summit to hear keynote speaker Kathleen Perkins, the CEO of Optics Report and other speakers talk about the personal and professional rewards of a career in the areas of sales. Industries represented included Fashion, Sports, News, and Pharmaceutical.
