Student Organizations
Join, Participate, Lead...
There are four student organizations specifically for marketing majors or those with strong interests in different aspects of marketing. At the beginning of each semester, the clubs run membership drives. Information will be sent over the marketing major listserv, and you will see flyers and recruiting tables around McClelland Hall. You can receive academic and professional benefits from joining one or more of these organizations. These organizations also offer many opportunities to gain leadership experience.
American Marketing Association - UA Collegiate Chapter
The American Marketing Association (AMA) is the largest organization serving marketing professionals in the world. The AMA sponsors collegiate chapters for those who are interested in entering the marketing profession upon graduation. The UA collegiate chapter typically meets one evening per week. The club has career workshops, guest speakers from different marketing professions, recruiters, philanthropic activities, and fund-raising activities. Select members also participate in the case competition and attend the national conference held each year in the spring in New Orleans, LA.
